Bob Lipski's Uptown Girl

Uptown Girl is a black & white mini-comic that follows the adventures and misadventures of Uptown Girl and her two best friends, Ruby Tuesday and Rocketman.
Uptown Girl is an all ages comic that appeals to adults as well as kids. DreamHaven's own
Bouncin' Bob Lipski self-published the first issue of
Uptown Girl in the spring of 2002. As with many projects, the first few issues were a little rough around the edges, but the heart was there. Within a few months,
Uptown Girl was being published monthly, and to this day has never missed its schedule. The comic has gathered a dedicated following and started to get the attention of critics and the media. Newsarama.com, the internet's largest online comic community, featured issue 31 of
Uptown Girl as their independent book of the week (November 21st, 2005).
In the spring of 2004, filming began for the
Uptown Girl movie, an independent short film that was written and directed by Minneapolis filmmaker Ben Mudek.
