Join us on November 12th for a visit with Catherine Lundoff! She will be reading from her works in progress and talking about what’s going on with Queen of Swords press, including the soon-to-be released Running Dry by M. Christian.

Catherine Lundoff is a Minneapolis-based award-winning writer and editor of fantasy, horror and other genres. Her books include Silver Moon, Blood Moon, Out of This World and Unfinished Business and, as editor, Scourge of the Seas of Time (and Space). Her short stories and essays have appeared in such venues as the Lesbian Historic Motif Podcast, Queer Weird Western StoriesSherlock Holmes and the Occult Detectives, Fireside MagazineNightmare MagazineNew Edge Sword & Sorcery Magazine and several World of Darkness anthologies and games.

She is also the publisher at Queen of Swords Press, a small genre fiction publishing house specializing in science fiction, fantasy and horror with LGBTQ protagonists. Catherine was a 2025 Alice B. Reader’s Appreciation Award Winner, a 2024 IBPA Innovative Voices Finalist and a recipient of a 2021 Ladies of Horror Fiction Writing Grant. Join us Wednesday, December 3rd for a discussion of fanzines with Eric Biever. Erik was the co-editor of the fanzine RUNE in the 1980s.  Erik will talk about editing the zine and how his tenure partially led to the existence of the semi-pro magazine, Tales of the Unanticipated.

On Wednesday December 10th, C.M. Alongi will be joining us for a reading and signing.

C. M. Alongi is a sci-fi/fantasy author and content creator in the Twin Cities. She’s best known for her TikTok series CaFae Latte (also available on YouTube). Her most recent book is the book based off of that series, Heart of Iron, which came out in October. When she’s not writing, she’s taking long walks, getting tangled in yarn projects, and protecting her furniture from her roommates’ evil cats.
