NOISE
Very late again. Doing the catalog is becoming less and less a priority since so few people order from it any more. There are so many factors contributing to this that it would take a whole catalog just to list them. I like the IDEA of doing a catalog but actually doing one…..
We’re buying books like mad – so many books are coming in I keep thinking I may have to place a total moratorium on buying books. But I can’t. I also keep thinking that the next great collection is just around the corner and if I say I’m not buying any more I’ll miss out. So the basement keep filling up and the store looks more like a museum every day.

In de Grandin there are familiar shades of both Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes and Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot, and alongside his assistant, Dr. Samuel Trowbridge, de Grandin’s knack for solving mysteries and his outbursts of peculiar French-isms (grand Dieu!) captivated readers for nearly three decades. $34.99

Why were certain lonely houses left beyond parish boundaries? Is there a missing book by T.E. Lawrence? What was the secret history of Cope & Fenwick, liturgical publishers?
