Morlan, Lisa Morton, Melanie Tem, Patrick Weekes, Jack Williamson, and Gene Wolfe, plus older works by Harlan Ellison and Charles de Lint, and an introduction by Neil Gaiman. Bookstore. the word conjures up many images; dusty little holes-in-the-wall piled high with well-read paperbacks, jacketless hardcovers and the promise of possible rare treats; huge superstores with coffee shops and comfy chairs, bookbags, bookmarks and sometimes even books; friendly neighborhood retreats complete with cat and eccentric owner. Places filled with ideas, built of words and pictures, just waiting to be consumed.
